so far this book sets in 1945. during the second world war. its about a family that is suffering because it has nothing to eat, and it has so little or no freedom at all. the family goes through a lot of burdens as they go through the war.

    their freedom was limited, they had little to do, and they had a small amount of resources.(for god sake they're in the middle of a war)
